Participants are invited to create a striking nail poster on one hand that embodies the essence of their chosen celebrity. From eye-catching designs to vibrant colours, let your poster reflect the personality and style of your celebrity muse.
Poster Specifications:
- Nail Poster must be submitted in satisfactory resolution.
- Watermarking or text on the picture is not allowed.
- Previous competition entries, social media or magazine publications are prohibited.
- Extreme nail shapes (same shape on all 5 nails), extended with any system, are permitted, with a length of 10 to 12 cm. Use one of the following systems: L&P acrylic, UV gel system, Polygel, or a combination of systems.
- Pay attention to hand positioning for optimal judging.
- Use any nail art technique, ensuring nails' shape remains visible.
- Special effects or colour changes on objects, accessories, background, or nails are not permitted.
Photography Guidelines:
- Ensure the poster resembles a cover photo for nail magazines.
- The focus should be on the nails, with the model's hand positioned prominently. Model appearance from shoulders to head.
- Use professional photo editing tools for minor skin corrections only.
- Makeup, hairstyle, and costume must align with the theme. Plan the photograph meticulously, considering colours, makeup, hairstyle, and costume.
- Photography dimensions must be 9:16; vertical. Incorrect measurements may result in a deduction of 10 points.
- Nudity in photographs is prohibited.
- Picture should present one hand and a single model.
- Accessories are permitted but should not detract from the prominence of the nails.
- While all accessories, including hair accessories, jewellery, and other items relevant to the theme, are permissible, they must not detract from the prominence of the nails in the picture.
Submission Requirements:
- Along with the poster, include a picture showing at least one nail next to a ruler. This picture serves as proof of meeting criteria and is essential for judging.
- Refer to the "picture guidelines" for detailed information on entry photographs.
- You're permitted to use Photoshop or any other photo editing software solely for minor corrections to facial or hand skin. However, these adjustments must be executed professionally and should blend seamlessly, akin to techniques employed in magazines.
- Create a narrative story, telling us why you chose your design. This should be a short sentence of 50 words, continuing a story.

- Apex Consistency: The apex is of the same size and positioned similarly on each nail.
- Apex Harmony: The apex complements the overall length and natural structure of the nails, taking into account the amount of material used.

3. Sculpting Criteria (Max 10 Points)
- Flawless Application: The camouflage gel or colour is applied smoothly and evenly around the cuticle area, without product cured on the cuticles. Any 3D elements used do not rest on the cuticles.
- Symmetrical Enhancement Surface: The top line of the enhancement surface is contoured smoothly and symmetrically on each nail.
