Welcome to the Wedding Nails category of our Nail Competition! This category celebrates the artistry and elegance of bridal nail designs. Showcase your creativity with a stunning Nail Wedding Extension perfect for the big day. From classic French tips to intricate lace patterns and sparkling embellishments, we’re looking for nails that complement a bride’s beauty and style. Let your designs capture the romance and joy of a wedding day, and may the best nails win!

  1. Create any Nail Extension shape of your choice, one hand only. Choose from the following artificial systems: L&P acrylic, UV Gel System, fibreglass, or polygel. You are allowed to combine the systems.
  2. Nails should be completed in colour or French look.
  3. The stylist performs the work on a form. The design must adhere to the theme: Wedding Style.
  4. The nail can have a length ranging from 5cm to 10cm.
  5. All decoration methods and elements are allowed: glitter, crystals, flowers, chains, feathers, etc.
  6. All entries must be original and created for Nail On Global! No repeated entries from previous competitions are allowed. All works that are not original or have been published on social media, previous competitions, or magazines will be immediately disqualified from the Nail On Global Championships.
  7. The nail should be positioned in the central point of the photo.
  8. Photos must be taken on a plain background. The setting for the photo can be a closed room or an open space, but it must be related to the prepared design.


1. Nail shape (Max 10 points)

- Consistency and Symmetry: All nails should be filed into a consistent and symmetrical shape, such as almond, coffin, or stiletto.

- Enhancement and Suitability: The chosen nail shape should enhance the overall design and suit the model’s hand shape, ensuring a balanced and elegant appearance.

Scoring: Each bullet point is worth 1-5 points.


2. Theme (Max 10 points)

- Effective Conveyance: The design should effectively convey a wedding theme, incorporating elements such as lace, wedding rings, etc.

- Colour and Symbolism: The use of traditional wedding colours (like white, ivory, pastels), or intertwined initials, should reinforce the theme.

Scoring: Each bullet point is worth 1-5 points.


3. Cleanliness of work (Max 10 points)

- Polish and Cuticle Cleanliness: The nails should be free from any excess polish, smudges, or residue, with perfectly clean cuticles.

- Neatness of Embellishments: Any nail art or embellishments should be securely attached and neatly applied, with no visible signs of glue or adhesive residue.

Scoring: Each bullet point is worth 1-5 points.


4. Creativity of Work (Max 10 points)

- Originality and Innovation: This criterion evaluates the originality and creativity of the design. Judges will look for innovative use of colours, textures, patterns, and embellishments that set the design apart and demonstrate the artist’s unique vision.

- Combination and Harmony: The ability to combine various techniques and materials in an unexpected yet harmonious way, showcasing the artist's style.

Scoring: Each bullet point is worth 1-5 points.


5. Level of Difficulty of Applied Decorating Techniques (Max 10 points)

- Complexity and Skill: Judges will consider the complexity and skill required for the techniques used in the nail design. This includes factors such as intricate nail art, advanced nail shaping, or the use of challenging decorating techniques like hand-painting and 3D nail embellishments.

- Attention to Detail: Incorporating tiny, delicate details such as micro-crystals or fine line work demands attention.

Scoring: Each bullet point is worth 1-5 points.


6. Overall Impression (Max 10 points)

- Impact and Inspiration: The design should make a strong impact, leaving everyone impressed and inspired.

- Cohesion and Professionalism: Everything about the nails, from cleanliness to technique, should come together to create a stunning and professional look.

Scoring: Each bullet point is worth 1-5 points.

Make sure the video is engaging from start to finish, grabbing viewers' attention quickly and keeping them interested throughout. Utilise creative editing techniques, music, and effects to enhance the overall appeal. 

Resolution: Ensure the video is in 1080p (Full HD).

Orientation: Keep the video vertical, with an aspect ratio of 9:16.

Format: Save the video in MP4 format.

Duration: Max 30 seconds.

Copyrights: Add the music title and artist to the comment section for copyrights.

The "Wedding Style" category is debuting at NailOn Global this year, so we do not yet have specific picture templates for this category. However, the hand positions are the same as those used for the "Perfect Almond" category. You can refer to the "Perfect Almond" picture guidelines as an example.
