Welcome to the world of Fantasy French, where classic elegance meets imaginative creativity! In this category, you have the opportunity to showcase your skills using a combination of fantasy colours but staying true to the traditional form of French Manicure for salon inspiration.
1. Design all five nails in any desired shape that could be trendy in a salon use. Choose from one of the following artificial systems: L&P acrylic, UV gel system, fibreglass, or polygel.
2. Participants are allowed to incorporate colours, shimmering glitters, opalescent shades for added flair and fantasy. Nails should be completed in a French look, all french styles are allowed (reverse, painted, with inlay design)
3. Nails cannot be extended to more than 150% of the natural nail bed length.
4. All entries must be original and created for NailOn Global! No repeated entries from previous competitions are allowed. All works that are not original or have been published on social media, previous competitions, or magazines will be immediately disqualified from the NailOn Global Championships.

1. Smile Lines (Max 10 points)
- Symmetry: Ensure the smile lines are symmetrical.
- Accuracy: Smile lines should reflect the nail bed as closely as possible.
Scoring: Each point is worth 1-5 points.
2. Cuticle Area (Max 10 points)
- Cuticle Condition: Ensure cuticles are free from cuts or irritations post-treatment.
- Camouflage Application: Chosen camouflage colour evenly applied, no shadows, clean line
Scoring: Each point is worth 1-5 points.
3. Shape (Max 10 points)
- Contour Consistency: The top line of the enhancement surface should be smoothly contoured and symmetrical on each nail. Convex & Concave lower side lines need to be as thick as the hairline or thinner but even on both sides.
- Apex Position: The apex-arch should be symmetrically positioned on each nail.
- Shape Harmony: The shape curve should enhance and harmonise with the hand, aligning with natural nails and consistent with the category's style.
- Proportional Length: Length should be proportional on all nails.
- Tunnel Curvature: Ensure the curvature of the enhancement "tunnel" is even and symmetrical on each nail. The nails must be consistently thin throughout the entire nail and be uniformly thin on each nail. And no thicker than a credit card.
Scoring: Each point is worth 1-2 points.
4. Design (Max 10 points)
- Originality: Ensure the design idea is original and innovative.
- Creativity Execution: Display creativity in the execution of the design, incorporating intricate details or unique elements.
- Balance: Ensure the design is well balanced.
- Technique Harmony: Apply different nail art techniques to harmonise with each other. All media are allowed except pre-designs like printed foils or stamps.
- Coverage: Spread the design across all nails, ensuring colours harmonise and enhance the overall design.
Scoring: Each point is worth 1-2 points.
5. Overall Impression (Max 10 points)
- First Impression: Assess the overall initial impact of the nails.
- Application Perfection: Ensure no improvements are needed and all the above characteristics are met.
Scoring: Each point is worth 1-5 points.

Resolution: Ensure the video is in 1080p (Full HD).
Orientation: Keep the video vertical, with an aspect ratio of 9:16.
Format: Save the video in MP4 format.
Duration: Max 30 seconds.
Copyrights: Add the music title and artist to the comment section for copyrights.

The "French Twist" category is debuting at NailOn Global this year, so we do not yet have specific picture templates for this category. However, the hand positions are the same as those used for the "Perfect Almond" category. You can refer to the "Perfect Almond" picture guidelines as an example.
