We understand that these extreme designs are not typically found in regular salon work, so this is your chance to give it a go and check your skills! We can't wait to see your favourite shape and your art presentation!
1. Create Your Desired Nail Shape. Choose from a variety of shapes, including Edge, Pipe, Stiletto, Butterfly, and more. Use one of the following systems: L&P acrylic, UV gel system, Polygel, or a combination of systems.
2. Ensure enhancements are at least 200% longer than the natural nail bed.
3. Design all five nails with any media of your choice. Solid colours will not be accepted.
4. Maintain the same and continuous theme across all nails for a cohesive presentation.
5. Any 3D attachments must be 100% your creation. If you choose to apply them, provide step-by-step pictures to prove you made them. The height of 3D artwork must not exceed 7 mm.
6. All entries must be original and created for NailOn Global! No repeated entries from previous competitions are allowed. All works that are not original or have been published on social media, previous competitions, or magazines will be immediately disqualified from the NailOn Global Championships.

1. Cuticle Area (Max 10 points)
- Cuticle Condition: Ensure cuticle condition post-treatment is free from cuts or irritations.
- Camouflage Application: Ensure the camouflage gel or colour lays perfectly and evenly with the cuticle area, avoiding product on the cuticles. 3D elements, if used, should not be applied on the cuticles.
Scoring: Each point is worth 1-5 points.
2. Shape (Max 10 points)
- Contour Symmetry: Ensure the top line of the enhancement surface is smoothly contoured and symmetrical on each nail.
- Apex Position: Confirm the apex-arch position is symmetrical on each nail.
- Harmonious Curve: Ensure the shape curve enhances and harmonises with the hand, aligning with natural nails and consistent with the expected style of the category. Points are awarded based on shape complexity.
- Length and Proportion: Verify the length is adequate and proportional on all nails.
- Curvature: Curvature of the enhancement "tunnel" is even and proportional on each nail. The nails must be consistently thin throughout the entire nail and be uniformly thin on each nail. And no thicker than a credit card.
Scoring: Each point is worth 1-2 points.
3. Design (Max 10 points)
- Originality: Ensure the design idea is original and innovative.
- Creativity Execution: Display creativity in the execution of the design, incorporating intricate details or unique elements.
- Balance: Ensure the design is well balanced.
- Technique Harmony: Apply different nail art techniques to harmonise with each other. All media are allowed except pre-designs like printed foils or stamps.
- Coverage: Spread the design across all nails, ensuring colours harmonise and enhance the overall design.
Scoring: Each point is worth 1-2 points.
4. Finish Look (Max 10 points)
- Surface Smoothness: Confirm the surface of the nails is smooth without any dust or air bubbles. If 3D elements are applied, ensure products used to attach them are not visible.
- Edge Coverage: Ensure the free edge is covered with colour or French finish.
Scoring: Each point is worth 1-5 points.
5. Overall Impression (Max 10 points)
- First Impression: Assess the overall initial impact of the nails.
- Application Perfection: Verify all characteristics were followed and no improvement is needed.
Scoring: Each point is worth 1-5 points.
